Love is not a punch bag
For it to be hit
Love is not a paper
For someone to rip it.

Love is not a knife
For it to stab a soul
Love is not an object
Violently thrown against the wall.

Love is not abusive
Nor is it verbaly sad
Love is the living soul with in us
It shouldn't hurt this bad.

Love is not a rough surface
For it to be rude
LOVE IS NOT CONSIDERED LOVE
If it is so crude.

Love doesn't have eye's
To look at her own
Love does not self-seek
It is not a cold hearted stone.

Love does not anger
For it to get violent
It never stops speaking
Love is never silent.

Love does not delight in evil
For it to keep records of wrong
Love always protects
From those objects violently thrown.

Love rejoices with truth
Love is painten and kind
I always preserves
Love will never hide.

Love always hopes
Love never stales
Love always trusts
Love never fails.

That's what Love is.

Well done, from your work that i have read you are an amazin writer, i look forward to readin your stuff.....keep it comin! But i understand this poem cuz my mom used to get abused and the last relationship i was in i was verbally abused all the time, so it is kinda like closure, it was super!!
