Separation of different worlds
I can see it so clearly
What holds the pieces together
What makes them fit

Am I so different
Am I strange
Perhaps I breathe differently
Maybe there aren't enough lashers

I don't know what to say
Under that umbrella of meat

Does she pray, or am I prey?

I can't say I really understand what this poem means.  In my tired stupor I came to my own conclusions and decided you were describing the doubt that is in all of us concerning what individuality is like for the people around us....

its the difference of milk and meat.  you urinate milk right out while meat has protien and iron and other building blocks.  and different people have different meats.
