I'm the shadow on your wall
The voice inside your head
I'm the monster who you fear
That hides beneathe your bed
I'm the reason you feel pain
Cause I'm ripping out your heart
And no matter what you do
You'll be sure to fall apart
I'm the tear that gently slides
Off your face and to the floor
As you cower in the corner
While I barricade the door
I'm the scars carved on your arm
To remind you no one cares
I'm the reason quickly fading
You scream but no one's there
I'm the knife stuck in your back
From a friend who never knew
And they don't know a thing about
The pain that you've been through
I scratch beneathe the surface
The pain begins to show
I put back up the walls you've built
So no one has to know
I'm the demons haunting you
The ghost that will not leave
I'm the place you'll never go
The air you'll never breathe
I'm all the things you never wanted
But I'm not the one to blame
Cause I'm nothing more than a reflection
Of the life that you have made

Ok most of the time I don't like rhyming but with this poem it really worked out. Do the world a favor and keep writng.

Talent is like food! You shouldn't waste it.
