for a second, watch me bleed.
after that, you can take what you need.
dont wait for me to shed a tear for you,
i've done all the things i could,
just to keep you beside me.
and this is the last time
i'm gonna pretend,
just to give you what you want.

i can ignore ypu like you do to me,
i can deny you too.
i'll take the truth that we can never be.
and tell everyone we're through.

i once told you we'll try to work things out,
and you simply said,
you dont know what i was talking about.
i could'nt get it why i had to change for you
just to become someone completely new
maybe it's time to put things
back where they belong.
you thought i'm not gonna make it but
i'll prove you wrong.
this will be the final fake i'll do
for the sake of keeping you..

i can go on without you in my life,
who ever said i dreamed to be your wife?
i wont stop you from walkin' out that door,
like i said, i wont lie for you no more.

I love the courage and determination with which the subject makes her stand against emotional abuse/misuse. And it was well spoken. I think I'm becoming a fan of your writing.

I really liked this. And this line especially. You should never have to change for someone.

If you love someone, let them go. If they come back, they were always yours. If they don't, they never were.
