The shadows of solemn happiness slowly fade from my knowledgeable existance.
Fear, anger, anxiety, and sadness all fill my consious mind, clouding it with thoughts of past failures and losses.
I yearn for acceptance and confidence within my ranks, hoping that one day they would recognize the person that I truly am and not what they think I am and want me to be.
I strive to become better than what I was one year ago, but that is slowly becoming more difficult as the days pass.
I have a new responsibility I must uphold for it could mean life or death for that very one.
I must take care of her as I wanted to be raised. She is my blood.
She is my life.
I will not fear the obstacles that I may run across, for I shall become vigilant as both a father and a husband.
I will not break down just from one simple
failure.
I shall learn from it and overcome what I could not before.

I reallu like this. ITs very nice. It exresses where I am today too. Looking toward the future and not the past failures.
