With each new passing Dreams and days Darkness lasting Nocturnal haze Never knowing If or when These will pass Or come again Feeling threatened Feeling scared Unknown enemy Your soul ensnared Running blindly The grip gets tighter Until finally Your chest feels lighter Keep your guard For the next one Isn't far Anytime anywhere The darkened villain May strike its fear By Inspired-8 © 2008 Inspired-8 (All rights reserved) Inspired-8 |
