It's Here #2

Then something in you changes

That feeling....

That horrible feeling that spreads....

spreads like a cancer

Slowly leaves

You start to gain feeling again

It warms you and kills all pain

You feel calm, peaceful, aware

alive......

You start to ask yourself

What saved you from your prison

What carried you from that dark place

That dark place in your mind

You ask and think and then.......

Then the answer is clear

clearer then anything else in the world

you know what saved you

HOPE

hope saved your mess of a life

It gave you something to life for

Something to follow

something that needed you

It gave you a second chance.........

It gave you.......LIFE

i, too, liked your poem and "hope" to read more...believe there is an intriguing wavelength starting to pulsate...could be a heartbeat...where there is life there can be hope and where there is hope there will be life, renewed!
