Hey guys, I haven't been posting on here for a while because, well, I dunno. I didn't really feel welcome on here. But, anyway, here's one more of my poems. Tell me what you think. Slow Down, I can't breathe; All this hurt is choking me Could I run away? Or would they crush me and leave me to die today Brokenness inside of me Brokenness is what I see Brokenness is what makes me bleed Brokenness has its' hold on me What I would give to finally be free, To rid these voices far from me You don't know what it's like To fight against this knife Brokenness pouring out of me Brokenness is what makes me bleed Brokenness is what I scream Brokenness has taken over me SheSmilesWithAllSheHasLeft.YetHerTearsAreLeftUndried.AndThoughShe'sGotSoMuchToSay.SheBottlesItUpInside |

TJ.... I enjoy that... and I DO know what it's like to fight against that knife, doll. I like your writing style and I'd love to see more of you. I'm sorry you hadn't felt welcome here before. Sometimes you just have to open your mouth and let yourself be heard, not just in your poetry but in your comments. |
