everything's about time, isn't it?
you can ponder your life away on that if you will.
but, it is, actually, about time that i said hello, again.
old friends pass this way ever once in a while.
what have we done?
do we have lessons learned to share with each other?
i bet we do.
can you count the times you've cried since last you responded to me?
i sure as hell can't, for crying is my bedfellow.
i know that the eves of hollows can relate,
but i bet the alls that are the rest of you can, too.
it's past time that "us stuck in the darkness of poetry"
succumb to the beauty that keeps us alive.
we've learned to deserve it.

of all the things we try to find... it's only love we keep.

"us stuck in the darkness of poetry"

I see a mirror when I read these words.

Great poem, loved it.

Selfishness has no bounds
Fight gives life
Love is brutal and simple
Blindness and glasses and broken teeth
Patiently live
Ferociously die
God is real

God bless
Michael

"the beauty that keeps us alive"

Indeed.
Beautiful, Michael.
It was good to read you.

Belief is a beautiful armor but it makes for the heaviest sword.
