Everyone who reads this has a place in my heart

everyone who understands this, you're better than me

I once thought that I needed to know everything right now

now I know it should be anything I allow

a dedication is to be made to several

if I forget you, forgive me, please

to the boy I love, guess its never enough

to my best friend, our time will never end

to my family who I love and adore

I'm sorry I could never give you more

to all my girls, you know who you are

you may all be different, but your shining stars

to Mystress May, you're such an inspiration

and all you other poets, you're dedication

to write a piece, so wonderful and true

you write how you feel, you know what to do

to all the musicians, that keep me alive

how the sound makes me feel, its my life

to all the teachers who taught me what I know

as my life goes on, I'll never let you go

my sisters of three, who are younger than me

I love you, you can do anything, if you just believe

to God who gave people a voice

to stand out of the crowd, to make a choice

I realized now, theres only one life to live

so what is it worth if you don't give?

when theres two people who are " Just friends"

when they know they want to be more

make it happen, make it mend

to everyone I know in my life

be happy, loved and make things right

to those I don't know, who I missed

I wish you the best, one last kiss

A dedication to everyone, everywhere

there will always be someone, somewhere who cares

This poem is about trying to make the most of life and for me thanking everyone I know and wishing everyone the best, hope you like it!

Dear Kate,
this is really a beautiful uplifting write! I don't know why you posted it in "Dark poetry", this would have been perfect for "Open". I am glad I discovered it.
