Tonight I will meet the devil
To watch the end of the world
I know he will stand up and revel
As the light will glow and swirl

I arrived and he was grinning
He already ordered my last drink
“There will be no more beginning,
Enjoy it before your brink.”

I asked,” Where will I go?”
He said,” You have friends at my gates,”
“You won’t be the only one they know”
“For the whole world Hell awaits”

“There is no god, it was just a lie.”
“All so I can see what they will do,”
“When they arrive in Hell after they die.”
“All of the religions are untrue.”

“I congratulate you for ignoring them.”
“For being the true example of mankind.”
“That is why you are here and win,”
“A meal with me at the end of your kind.”

I smiled and drank the wine
Thinking of all my enemies
Soon it will be the end of their time
And they will jump up in glee
Only to be faded by the sight
Of my face as I clap in pride
Their relief will be replaced by fright
As I will be their personal guide

Five minutes until my end
I decided I wanted to sing
The world started to bend
I was here with our king

He joined in soon after
We could hear the believers scream
It was drowned out by laughter
As they thought it was a dream

And then they heard our voices
And looked at us in tears
We stood in such a rejoice
As we confirmed their fears

We sang for eternity
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
