**This poem is in memory of my grandmother who died April 12th 2006**

I miss talking to you, I wish you were here

I believe you know that day you left,

I cried many tears

I just wanted you to know that I love you

I still do, always have

I'll never forget anything, all the things in the past,

you were the best cook, my opinion in my mind

we always laughed, we always smiled, there all the time

you said you wanted me to go to college

so thats exactly what I'll do

of course I'll do it for me, but I'll also do it for you

I remember the tree in your backyard

we'd play hide and seek, you'd say "there you are!"

you'd always tell a story before I went to bed

and everything you'd say, still remains in my head

when I was really little, I'd help you put the would in the fireplace

and I would say " There's another one."

and you'd just have a smile on your face

you'd tell me stories, about when my dad was little,

the things he used to do

but all I remember is spending most of my time with you

its still so hard for me to move on

because I still can't believe, that you're really gone

you'll never come back, I'll never sit on your lap

I'll never hear your voice again

Its really hard for me

because I still can't believe

that you're really gone

This poem is about my grandmother and I really miss her a lot. Everything in this poem are true events, Its really personal but I really miss talking to her and being around her, she always used to make me laugh and she was a very big part of my life.  I'm not really sure if anyone can relate to this poem, but really its about a loved one that you lost, and I'm sure everyone has gone through that in their life.

Awww... this is very heartfelt... it's sad but it's also happy... it's a celebration of the good times.

Wow, this was awesome. I really enjoyed it. And i wish you te best, it's always hard to lose someone you love.

So no more hiding all your pain, you deserve a new start. That's why i'm closing myself away, this is a message from your heart.

This poem is personal, that is why it is clear that words came straight from the heart.  I am sorry that your Grandmother had to die.  I know you miss her a lot because I can sense love in your words.  I believe that the best way to resembe that love is by cherishing her memorie and working on what she had wanted you to do most.  Going to college, finishing education, and beyond all taking care of those memories an keeping them safe within your mind.  I know how hard it is to lose someone important even though I have never known any of my grand parents... but that is about not just them is it?

Take care, and enjoy life to its fullest
Your poem is great, and I really like that part of the fireplace.  I find it nostalgic and pretty ^^

I can relate my grandma adopted me and her funeral was held june 6, 2006. and i now live in the same town as she did before her death. Because of recent turns of events i really need her and shes not her so its like having a never healing wound open again.

The world behind these thoughtful eyes, caution may seem crazy.
