Of all the poems I've written, this one's definatly one of my favorites! As a tradition, I start a poem at midnight on 10/30. I finish the poem at midnight on Halloween. Ive done it since I was litte, and this one turned out really good!

Witches burning, lives are turning!
The beast is yearning for souls unfurling!
Snakes uncurling, fear undetering!
Oh! What a lesson mankind's learning.

Madness blights the firelight,
Oh so bright! A dire sight!
Death takes flight with speed tonight.
Off to strike out faithless lives!

Kings are shaking, angels quaking.
Doom is waking, lives are aching.
Death is waiting, Earth's for the taking!
Hallow's Eve!! The world is breaking!

A dirdge of cries! The end of lives!
The swish of scythes, demons thrive!
The slice of knives, the Heaven's sigh...
All is ending in a web of lies!

Hear the screaming, Angels fleeing!
Heartless bleeding, cease the dreaming.
Loveles! Lifeless! Theives are theiving!
Choas reigns on Hallow's Evening!!!

Feedback appreciated!

Love it! The flow, the feel... all great.

Our scars are the foundation for what we have become
