Mornings

My alarm clock warns me
I must work for a living.
Swinging my legs off the bed,
I sit for a few minutes,
letting my dreams retreat.
Stumbling to the bathroom,
I try and find my face
in the mirror.
In the kitchen I look
in the fridge for something
that i can never find.
I grab my keys
and head out the door.

My teardrops wait
on the counter by the coffee
for my return.

I liked this!! It really touched me when i read it, which is good I can't wait to read more!

So no more hiding all your pain, you deserve a new start. That's why i'm closing myself away, this is a message from your heart.
