Standing before the relentless crowd
Naked
Fears and weaknesses exposed for all to see
Flaws magnified to excruciating degrees
Nowhere to hide
Your mask lying broken at your feet
Wanting nothing more than to turn and weep
To flee from reality
Inadequacy sinking in
As you wait for this judgment to finally end
And yet they gaze on
Wondering if dreams and hopes can ever mend
Feeling more vulnerable than you can comprehend
And yet they gaze on
Bowing your head to escape the stares
But painfully aware that they’ll always be there
Because you let them
Burrowing deep within your soul
To hide a part that they’ll never know
Keeping it from them
But now unable to save yourself

~~Poetry is written emotion~~

I really liked this. It was very deep Nicely done.

So no more hiding all your pain, you deserve a new start. That's why i'm closing myself away, this is a message from your heart.

Good write that clearly voices how it feels to be vulnerable.

wow this poem is quite breath taking. i love the part,
"Flaws magnified to excruciating degrees
Nowhere to hide
Your mask lying broken at your feet"
it put so much imagery in the readers head.
