I don't know how to say this,
I don't know where to start.
But i can't hold on anymore,
I'm losing a piece of my heart.

I wish that i could change it,
And make everything better.
But there's nothing i can do,
To make us last forever.

I have to let you go now,
To get on with my life.
Before i lose my sanity,
And i am filled with strife.

So good-bye my dear friend,
I need you only to know...
I love you more than anything,
But it's time to let you go.

So no more hiding all your pain, you deserve a new start. That's why i'm closing myself away, this is a message from your heart.

great poem,letting go is always difficult, but its something you have to do,
with change of season love can die.

At first read I saw a image of a small child and her favorite teddybear. Very nice write.

But i don't agree that love dies. I think that you just start loving someone else.

I agree with everyone else about how love never dies. It always stays nestled deep inside of you but eventually it's ok. Somtimes it doesn't matter how much you love someone you still need to let go. Greatly done. -Tara
