It's tiring it all seems lost Everything you once known is gone It seems the harder you try to make it better It's all lost before you know what to do What are all these feeling Your mind is telling you this But your heart is telling you that What is to become of me we will soon see? The future has left you in its wake Who's to say there is more to life than this Eternal hardship for the crimes you can never pay All thoughts all memoirs fade back to those days Why rebuild when ruins just lies ahead Look at all the bridges that have burned down What is there to look forward to When the simplest thing you wish for will never come true Feel the ache as the heart begins to shake The last quiver of your one last breath You just seem to bury yourself in your own grave It seems all you have to bargain with is this pain The suffering of losing something Feeling like you will lose it all in the end They says it's for the better But you think that's just How could this change anything anyway You're always on my mind it never ceases to amaze me The smallest thing reminds me of you In everything I do Why rebuild when ruins just lies ahead Look at all the bridges that have burned down What is there to look forward to? When the simplest thing you wish for will never come true So tell me how will this change The thoughts can only get worse from here Will you be beaten out shot out When I'm absent I'm distant when I'm so far away So much will it be a waste in my absence All the tears the bloodshed Was it worth all your time? Did I really even mean as much to you as you meant to me Waiting for the world to fall must be better than this The fear of losing you with every single breathe An instant seems to far away Let alone the months to come Why rebuild when ruins just lies ahead Look at all the bridges that have burned down What is there to look forward to? When the simplest thing you wish for will never come true Reassurance what is there to say? No one is coming along Not with the thought of you at ever corner Not with in my dreams All I can say I hope these last few tears weren't a waste All you have seen is a taste There is so much more to see It's even a mystery to me |
