Love The thorns kill me with each kiss. Your touch weakens me with each rub Each word you say Makes me wish… When we’re apart You seem to like it that way. You’re a completely different person. Its like you forget about what we had. Confusion I look to confusion He tells me He tells me things… Things I don’t want to hear. I close my eyes. Only to see you. Laughing at my dismay. Why? I gave you my heart I gave you my soul I gave you everything Why? The thorns are now digging into me Your touch turns into sand paper Your words turn into screams Makes me wish… It’s been 6 months Maybe it was better that way. Maybe it’s me who wants to change. Now I want to forget it all. Auspicious I open my eyes Only to see myself Myself in the broken mirror I know now. Good things are meant to come to an end Hearts are meant to be broken Promises are meant as lies. I know now. The meaning of…Love. As long as good people live in this world, Stupidity will always exist. |
