SCARRED

When did this all start?
How did it begin?
Many years ago,
deep cuts within.
A little harder,
I tell myself.
Be brave,
just make it be felt!
However it started,
I became numb.
So please make it stop.
Let this battle be won.
End this pain,
the hurt in me,
because the ones that bleed,
won't set me free.
Burning cuts,
or scars on skin,
cannot compare,
to the scars within!

~scarred is one letter more than scared. Scared to love, scared to feel, scared to express, scared to open up, scared to be ME!~
