Meet me at the sight of death,
Before the time comes,
We’ll make sure we’ll be dead,
A slow, long dance,
Before the pale moonlight,
A cry of madness within your soul,
Solace we seek in each other’s embrace.

Look onto the earth of treachery,
How we long for peace at the moment.
Look into the eyes of a wild beast,
How we long silence to come in an instant.

Death, a step to eternity,
Before us, a ball of fire resurrected our soul,
Call my name before you step into judgment,
Don’t leave me crying in a corner.

Towards the light now love,
Forgive my sins.
Don’t look back to be searched by me,
As I’ll no longer be there to be seek.

Breathe the air of death,
Tell your soul you’ll be fine,
Just don’t hold back,
As I’ll be gone by now.

I really enjoyed this one.  These few lines really struck a chord with me....

"Before the pale moonlight,
A cry of madness within your soul,
Solace we seek in each other’s embrace."

A very deep and fluid poem, really well done.  Nice one.

-The Light of Day-
the stacks they rise, high into the sky
more and more they say, more and more every day
plumes of smoke rise, into the filling skies
slightly harmful they say, slightly harmful they pray
this we must stand, this for the good of man
what could go wrong, the dinosaurs are gone
we cower high within these towers
we shun the light of day
the holes are dug, far beneath the rug
deeper and deeper they say, deeper and deeper every day
the dirt piles high, it joins the sky
defined to a tee, defined for you and me
the proverb was said, this i've read
it's been said before, on some solemn shore
deep within our holes, deep within our souls
we shun the light of day
some changed their roles, jumped out of their holes
hidden was the light, for it was night
decided was the moon, it furthered the gloom
it had refused to shine, for your eyes and mine
many search within, many never begin
many spread wings and fly, many crash and die
so they relenquish their roles, jump back in their holes
we shun the light of day

Just meant that all can, and will. Great write and please, as I beg on my own door, write. If no more and bygone by now, well at least I heard it your way.
