I dwell in my own hell.
Incarcerated by a substance, destined to fail.
Its deathly vice my torment my cold dark cell.
Longing for nothing more than to take my last breath and hear the final call of Satan's bell.
Released from this obscured journey of pain.
No longer living life threw a spoon threw a rigg threw an unquenchable vein.
That will be the only peace I've ever know.
In the midst of a thousand yet in my anguish I sit alone.

This last line really made me think. I have been there so many times I have lived in that pain. I haven't seen you here before so Welcoem to Passions I really liked this poem and hope you will continue to write...
