independent or walking alone I cannot ever shine again so who cares about the wording? Your chains pull on me I want to go down with you but I can’t dig a hole deep enough (I don’t know where they took you) my hands are so empty every room feels so cold but I think it’s just when I walk in I generate my own morgue carrying my dead with me time is just another stab to the heart it takes you further away from me I remember how I cried the first time I saw you because I knew you were supposed to be mine my hands are so empty just another pain that gets pushed back more and more never really moving on holding you there just like every other one black lace around my throat just so others will think of you but they don’t know they don’t know... I think (I hope) someday it will choke me so empty they can’t remember my hands they forgot A warrior poet once said |
