This is my first post, this poetry is from a song I wrote for my Band, and is therefor lyrical .It's about inner voice and finding yourself in silence, and is inspired by Tolkien's Myrkwood Forest from "Lord of the Rings".

             Eryn Lasgalen

Losing your way, in your mind, in the haze!
Something behind (ohhh)... lest we remind you...
close your eyes...step inside, lose your way!
Something inside (you).... longing to find you....

Dark and ancient Forest,
whispers nieth the night,
evoking unseen mystery,
beyond the pale moon light

walk amidst the forest
hear the howling winds,
listen to the laughter,
as eternity begins.

Let her find you, in your mind, in this place!
...as she becomes you...the ritual begins...
Close your eyes...step inside lose your way!
Something inside (you)...is going to find you...

At last when night has settled,
no mortal will know nor care
That amidst the ancient forest,
we had stood there

All is now forsaken,
only the spirits that remain,
fill the air with madness,
and sadnesss wrought in pain

Thanks for your intrests in the poem, it's actually from an album i'm currently working on and there happens to be nine more similar songs ( the album is called "Nine winds enslaved"), all with fantasy inspiration..i'll post more as they are finished.

The type of music is heavy metal/blackmetal, the music sounds alot like say "opeth" for example. It's heavy but very melodic.
