Looking out my window Snow falls softly on the barren ground Barren like my soul, parched and dry You were the rain that soothed me But now I am in a season of drought You left me alone I cry, salty tears are bitter relief My heart is wounded Mourning, I walk under the winter sun The beauty brings me no joy For I am alone |
