can you see me?
am i really here?
i can't see my reflection through the mirror,

my body's shaking compulsivley,
i'm floating above me through the air,
yet all i can do is stop and stare,

mama's sobbing uncontrolably,
while she's phoning up my dad,
how can i be happy when they all look so sad,

i feel so free leaving my body,

people stopping by to see me,
to see if i have changed,
they give my mom condolences thinking i'm deranged,

later i wake up in a hospital bed,
surrounded by four white walls,
the scars left an imprisonment through these fading halls,

the experience left me listless,
the pain hearing my family cry,
thinking here on after i don't want to die.
