I took an oath to faithfully serve you until the end of time Standing by your side seeing to your every whim and need To not serve you. my queen, to me would seem like a crime Not being able to fulfill my destiny, would make my very heart bleed. My queen, your people have undying loyalty and love you so All of your followers bend down and worship you Any one that would defy you surely would have a hard road to hoe I couldn't begin to conceive the punishment for trying to harm you. You have to make your presence known at some sort of banquet So I will help make you presentable and make sure you look your very best You shall be on your best behavior and use your amazing wit This is the way you captivate your people,you only present yourself at your very best. I follow close behind you as you ascend the palace steps Staying very close to you as you may need something Walking very close behind you step by step We are in a procession as I see all the sacrificial things the people bring. A stranger walks up to you, I stand very close, what happens next I was not prepared This person actually has the courage to strike at your life Something of this magnitude how do you prepare? A sharp pain, to you my queen I give you my life. |
