Clothed in the orchid slip of a child
those sun suited years
when time fell from chalk bells,
and chimed the conviction
the sky was as vast and as pure
as the translucent
organza of her innocence.

The sky descended,
metamorphosed into chipped Dresden
tossed into the dustbin
that whispered don't tell.

Crushed bones of deaf ears
peeled skin from the heart
in thin ruby tendrils
of abandonment
as the pure orchid light
fragmented into surreal
films of detachment.

Hi JennniferMaxwell,

Welcome to passions! I'm so honored to be the first to welcome/post on this poem

"The sky descended,
metamorphosed into chipped Dresden
tossed into the dustbin
that whispered don't tell."

My favorite^^ Especially the part about chipped Dresden, kind of a sad thought...But a wonderful poem nevertheless!

I loved your use of words, complex, yet, not hard to understand, if you know what I mean...

Thanks for sharing, I hope to see more of your posts in the near future!

"I pray thee, O God, that I
may be beautiful within."
