ERRING ON ME:

My name and my place, the hope of my days
What does myself mean to me?
Strength and love divided and flows free, yet restricted
The time of erring reflected in me
Scrutinised, taken apart, rejected
The course of my life forever determined
Who I may be and where I may stand
By hateful, spiteful people who don't understand

Hi sgreybe,

I'm not sure I understand the whole poem together but I liked the parts I felt that I understood. The first half, to me, was kind of a trying to find myself sort of feel and the last half was lashing at the world for the judgement cast. I kind of liked it in the seperate sort of form. It does come together in the end, which makes it even better. Thanks for sharing!

"I pray thee, O God, that I
may be beautiful within."
