Did I ever begin?
How could I have come this far?
Am I truly without friend?
Reliving the pain of this scar

Just like the memory
So cold and grey
It twists me
Leaving this empty feeling always

The thought of life as I tear myself apart
It burns my will
That this memory would simply depart
The scar would be here still

The hatred I withold is still real
Although I've forgotten why
This memory affects everything I feel
This pain refuses to die

I disintegrate as I remember
That fateful night of ours
In the coldest month of December
Just when you gave me these scars

Don't waste your breath on apologies
I cannot seem to forget
As I sing you bitter elegies
Of what should be your regret

No matter what I do to stop it
I feel my mind holding it in
This memory of us will not quit
I can never call you my friend

Just like this memory
So morbid and dark
It twists me
All because you left an eternal mark

This memory won't fail
So leave me alone
This scar will always prevail
You've destroyed my home
