I decided to make the poem more unique by incorporating transitions between English and Finnish.  I hope you enjoy.  I can post translations if they are requested.

========================
========================

The harvest moon sweeps the night with dim golden light.
The fall of night usurps the grace of day once so bright.
Thou shalt not forget thy teachings, "Haud salus est solvo."
Qemetial, Belial, Othiel
Open the gates, and lead the damned back to Hell
Viha , hävitys... is this the way it must end?

Many centuries passed, but will they see
the evil that men do - the unassailable hypocrisy?
Were only human - am I one with the extortionate?
Himmeys anastaa aste -lta elinikäinen.

The hour turns, madness strikes
I hear the cries of night
I heed the call of the wild

An exile - one not bound for world of man
We are the noble - the proud
We respect the order of life and the beauty of the land
It is something they will not understand

Evil is not created or destroyed.
This sinister force exists for personal gain, no matter the cost
All becomes nothing - everything is lost, or so it seems
Im stand here, "is this one obscure dream?"

Where do we draw the line?
Is innocence impossible to define?
Im standing in the pouring rain,
I call upon the mist to wash my sins away

The final hour turns, and madness strikes
I hear the cries of night
You can live your life as you will
for I have my own destiny to fulfill
I heed the call of the wild
Ainoa avulla Hoivata äidin tavoin Gaia

Hey Reinkaos,

WeLcOmE to piptalk! I hope you enjoy your stay with us, it’s always nice to see a new face around here

Great poem, btw! I like how you put a touch of Finnish in this, it makes the poem unique in various ways, makes us remember were not the only ones who write poetry! Lol

"Where do we draw the line?
Is innocence impossible to define?
Im standing in the pouring rain,
I call upon the mist to wash my sins away
"

I loved this stanza a lot, mostly the part where you ask if innocence is impossible to define. That part made me start thinking, how do you define innocence? Lots of times we use children to define it but when you think about it they are just as guilty as adults? It's something I'll have to give more thought too...

Thanks for sharing, I hope to read more from you in the near future!
