In My World...

In my world there are no stars
To gild night skies in luminesce,
For stars are but to make a wish,
From earthen bonds to dispossess,
And so at night no welkin splendor,
Lights the path for my escape
Beyond the veil of blowing dust
Enshrouding me in earthen scape.
Although I hear the heavens calling,
I comprehend not words they speak,
For words are shadows in the night,
Spiraling out to tracts oblique
In my world there are no stars
To make a wish, to guide the way,
I gaze aloft in mortal blindness
Espying not of night’s array.

The imagery, wording, seutup, content, all so amazing in this poem! One of the best i've seen in awhile. I loved this, it was such a pleasure to read...
