Something in here is slowing down
God says, "Get up, but I can't help you
Do something you must do on your own."

The big bad wolf squeeks the materess
He's no church mouse

By faith I haven't quite received
In the promises I've fully believed

Where is my drummer?
Where is my band?
Why does my mind feel so depraved?
Why are we so separated and not unified?

They condemn me in my obedience,
Or don't respond at all
And instead leave me in arrogance
Naked with my all in fall

Jesus, where are you?
Where is your face?
Somewhere in the labyrinth?
How are you my Lord?
How have you been?

I see you've laid tracks
Just away from the traps
Thy will be done!

You don't lie, you are the truth
I pray that I'll be more like you

To wrestle is to live; to fight is to love.

This is one of my favorite parts in the whole poem, that is if I had to choose. It is very hard though, because all the lines are amazing. This was very well written. It was a pleasure to read...

I liked the content in the poem, how you speak about God and Jesus, it was nice to see. Also, your form, in the setup, was awesome! Thanks so much for sharing

Thank you, but for me it feels somewhat like a foundation piece.

God bless,
In Christ,
