I draw my emotions
From deep within – you
You, him, her
All who surround me
Your smile is mine
Your tears are mine
But envy is mine
And mine alone
I envy what you feel
I feed off your emotions
Just to survive
To feel
To be human
Everything more beautiful
More vivid
A simple sunset
The sound of rain
Even if just for a brief moment
I’m alive
Because of you
I draw my emotions
From deep within – You
You, Him, Her
All Who Surround Me
And I Envy You
And What You Feel
While I’m Left Here
With Borrowed Emotions

I Thought of You Today,
And What We Could've Had
For A Brief Moment I Had You
And Still, I Somehow Knew
I'd Have To Let Go

I LOVE THIS! It spoke to my heart because that's how I survive, because I feel so empty. Like I have no emotions of my own. You expressed this beautifully!

This poem really speaks loudly to me of the feelings of loss and emptyness,

You have become one of my favorite poets on pip, not that I read all of the poems but what I have seen so far. You always seem to be able to make the reader feel what they are reading.

You have some crazy talent there, and i love reading what you write! This poem is no exception. It is one of my favorites I believe. It's hard to choose though...

I know that I like the part I copy/pasted above a lot! It's something I can relate too, something I sometimes do...

Thanks for sharing this poem with us. I found it to beautiful yet so sad and an emotional read for me... I can't wait to see more from you
