The Stars Above.

Your lips are cold now,
Your mouth is dry,
I wasn’t there,
To say goodbye.

Alone I sit now,
Wreathed in sadness,
Talking quietly to myself,
Verging on madness.

For you my love,
My heart openly bleeds,
For you my love,
I’ve done these deeds.

The one whom,
Ended your beautiful smile,
The one whose,
Heart was so vial!

Sleeps now forever,
Gutted and alone,
My knife lodged,
Within his breast bone.

How he screamed,
As I hunted him down,
Beat him to the floor,
Broke his crown.

It is you my love,
For whom I did these deeds,
And you my love,
For whom my heart still bleeds.

Alone in a cell,
Still crying years later,
I pray for the day,
When I shall see straighter.

Straight to you,
Up above,
Straight to you,
The one I still love…

Let the moonlight paint your face, let the stars be your cloak...

I love these type of poems. Vengeance, anger, love all mixed in together make the poem so powerful. Nice piece Internalexile!

Omgosh! I really enjoyed reading this it was such an interesting poem…

I’m not really into dark poems, but this one was… it was like instant “WOW!” I couldn’t stop reading until I reached the end but when I did all I wanted to do was read it again…

Anyway, all I wanted to say was this is an amazing poem and I hope to read more of yours very soon

I have to agree w/ everybody else.This Poem was very emotional. I liked it. I thought it was very good. Keep on writng.
