To burn white hot
To scorch the morning sun
with your fire
To hold light in one hand
And the Fire in the other
To consume
and be consume
To be the night
and be the day
To end as you begin
to begin as you wish to end
to dig deep
but do not leave
to find the heart
in darkness keep

To love
To loathe
and to end

I went to the desert on a horse with no name, it felt good to get out of the rain.

I love this - it's so nice.
And very well written. I really like your choice of words.

''to dig deep
but do not leave
to find the heart
in darkness keep''

That part's my favourite

An excellent piece.
