I don't know what i saw
It could have been the dark
the time after the time
maybe i slipped
maybe im lying down
bleeding and alone
shattered on the cold stone
maybe im dreaming
deep in my bones
perhaps i've fell so far
and the last host
the deep pit has claimed me

I do not know where i lay
I do not know what i see
the bright lights of my spark fading
in the perfect blackness

I went to the desert on a horse with no name, it felt good to get out of the rain.

"the time after the time" - perhaps the time after he was attacked. I like this poem. Good job.

For A Brief Moment I Had You
And Still, I Somehow Knew
I'd Have To Let Go

The time after the time is the afterlife

The time is life itself so after is death/ afterlife however you choose to see it.

Thanks for great replies
