I think I should
Bite my tongue off
And spit it out
So the words that I think
Can never be said
To you
And your standing
In the field of flowers
And playing
All your games
I think your not gonna
Look my way
And you never do again
I’m so sorry
I tried to get your attention
A curse on me
A curse on me
I thought your love
Would set me free
But a curse on me
I can’t feel love
I can’t feel love from you
Destiny wants me
Forever sad and blue
I’ve crooned of the sunrise
The sunrise never came
I’ve crooned for days
Of you and me
Such days have never risen
I’ve cried for the days I wished for
And ne’er will they come
I wish now only
For a dark room
To match my soul
And a picture
Of your perfect display of affection
For the man you love instead
So my heart can die
With such great sorrow
That no man can comprehend

A cold winter breathing sadness and no salvation
The warmth of another wont end a season
But distract me from its cold
A distraction I value more than gold
Its value worthless to a touch
A glance of fire
A kiss from your burning desire
