Somewhere he sat
thinking his dark thoughts
of the pains he felt
but did not feel
of hopes he had
going unfulfilled
sitting
crown of thorns
cutting his brow
sand and sun
burning foot and hand

Somewhere he sat
crying tears of blood
for his lost loves
long betrayed
by passing blades
set upon
not to his face
sitting
pondering his loss
that was not his
his mind walks
far and wide

Somewhere he sat
his ghosts for company
he talked to them
those he found
those he made
alone with spirits
old souls
melting into morning
the sun rose
sitting
faceing a new day
thinking his dark thoughts
alone he sits
forever

Take a good look at my face
Well, don't my smile look out of  place
look a little closer its easy to trace
The tracks of my tears

Hey.. well. all I can say is that each section of this poem. made me think about a different person.. It was like 3 different people to me.. but you probably intended for it to only be one.. great job on this.. I'm surprised no one has posted.. I might not really understand what you were trying to say but it was beautifully written.. Keep it up..

Desire nothing except desirelessness. Hope for nothing except to rise above all hopes.
Want nothing & you will have everything.
