The day is born,
Where sheep herd north to south.
Village to village, children splash water onto their crust ridden eyes.
Money is transferred, hands are dirtied,
Morals are unforgiven.

The day’s cycle is each buildings pleasure,
Where business’s prosper,
To citizens glory.

Africa wrestles evil,
Where America finds treasure.
Israel sees death through each member buried,
As the cycle of life varies from the clouds of England to the grassy Knowles of Ireland.

Life creates opportunities,
Where ends find means,
Soil rises, morning’s dew.

A child’s birth, the beginning.

this was so heartbreaking, but it has got a very serious point in it.
i don't want to start ranting but ... this subject gets me pretty angry. maybe if governments had any compassion or decency third world countries wouldn't be in the state they are now. it sickens me.

ok anyway - this whole poem is really hard hitting. the end is particularly effective in that. it's so sad - but unfortunatly true.

well written. good job.
