What is life? But a simple mistake, A pimple, Freckle, An imperfection on a face of painful, Sorrowful, And anger filled memories. What is a bruise? But a memory of suffering, A reminder of a punch, A bump on a pointed object, Or being thrown against a wall. What is your mind? But a place of corrupted thoughts, Is it alive? Does it think about the feelings of others? Do you use it at times when you are planning to harm an innocent victim? Or maybe, It’s just a comfort. In trying to find yourself, It shows the ways in trying to solve problems of school related or personal values. So why, I ask myself, Do people think of these things as simple objects? Simple things that don’t matter, Who gives a care about a bruise? An imperfection, A face filled with sorrow and pain, They’re all the same aren’t they? None of them matter do they? No one gives anyone a chance, What’s the use? It’s nothing more than a dream, A hope that is useless in wishing for people to be happy or at least content with being around one another; A memory, Locked away in those secret corridors that you call your filing cabinet of thoughts, Or maybe something else entirely different. We’re all the same in similar ways, Learn to get along with others, Find your voice to stick up for yourself, Or maybe even another individual. We’re all human, Even though some seem to think that many people who call themselves human are just dirt, Disgusting pieces of trash, Everyone is nothing but junk, Sure, Maybe some people are trash and junk, But not everyone, Some can be pure of heart, They could have good intentions, Some aren’t as awful as people describe them to be, Thoughts, As I may have told you already, Can be corruptive. What is a disease? But the corruption of another’s feelings, The destructive illness that overcomes another’s immune system, Their innocence may be stripped of them in this way. So how, May I ask, Do you get rid of such a thing? Is it possible to cure? I would think there would be some way of preventing it. Of course, You’ll find that you can prevent such things, But will people be willing to participate in such an act? Will you give up your habits of gossip? Will you try your hardest to keep yourself from such corruption? We’re not perfect, But we can try to help others, Do you really think it’s really that hard to? Will it ruin your reputation? Who cares? People are people and we should all be treated equally in all aspects whether they should be good or bad, Not like dirt… Although that is most likely going to be the final result. If only people weren’t so attached to such horrible things. What is…? |
