Can you find sanctity, within theses hallowed halls?
A ghost of the past reaches out to you
Calling to you, with the sweetness of a past lover
You reach out, searching for something real
Something tangible in which to place your hope
For when reality hits you, like a shot in the dark
Catching you unaware, while your mind drifts
Among days of old, long lost to you
You realize in horror there is nothing
Just total desolation
Stripped of all humanity
You bask in the darkness, unseen by all
For there are none to see you, you are alone
Slowly, your sanity begins to slip
Your mind spirals deeper into complete dementia
Where you shall remain...forever lost.
