My Way Of Life By: Cherishable-Me Everyone has that someone who they grew up with as a child A family member, a close friend Or someone who they can really talk to and trust Where you make childless promises To be best of friends Or to be with each other for eternity But when hit you that teenage part of your life Where you and that person are slowly pulling away from each other Your values maybe the same when you were a child But now in that young-adult stage Where it’s a two way street It either you go the academic way or applied way And for some reason you choose the idle way In some cases you don’t share the same perspectives You may be the wilder kind of person Who values parities and popularity And who lives by a day-to-day schedule But on the other hand That other person who you thought that understood you most does value the same values They value good education and good ethical values And that goes totally against your principles Foolish philosophers say how opposites attract But is that really true? Would a fanatical idiotic person get along with intelligent scholar? Standpoint, perspective, point of view Called it what you want But I call it my way of life |
