The sand strands,
Where words utter through winds gasps.
Streets hide from eye to eye,
As tonight remains another dry sight.
Where the watch burns,
Each regret is tattooed, feet to heart, heart to soul.
Solace is found when new light meets old eyes,
And each summer is engrained in a jar,
Freshly kept, until the complete moons new ceiling moves in.
Youth isn’t swept away,
Stays sealed, like the lips that comfort each face.
The summer isn’t long away,
Trapped in a white winter,
My dream is locked away.

i got a sense of struggle or loss from this, but i loved the way it was written and the word choice you used, awesome... well executed as well

'The sand strands,
Where words utter through winds gasps.
Streets hide from eye to eye,
As tonight remains another dry sight.
Where the watch burns'

loved this section too by the way. Excellent post, going in my library

Life is a torment and torment an enigma. So burn the shackles of slavery and let love run free
-i wrote it somewhere in time
