My friend, who lives in the rocks
Its not a cave
It isn't sand
Its the rocks on the ground
With staying power

They move by human influence and instruction
According to God's law of gravity
Unaffected by ignorant judgmentality
Even that of authority
And Jesus is a rock

Lock me down and burry me with stone
If I didn't use everything
I would be stacked on nothing
On top of a lie you fall
Only what is true can hold firm

If I offended you I apologize
It wasn't meant to
But even as solid as a rock is
Its indifferent to light
Solid things with no life may be blind indeed

Eat the grains and suck the coffee
Clean with class and very sturdy
Study the laws and rebuke the flaws
Walk with pottery and me
Jesus, white robes, in poetry

So what if my wings are too scratched, cut, and beat up to fly... I'll walk.
