Psychosis of the liver
Neurosis of the lungs
In a doctor's hand delivered
The shape of a man that hung

A coil forged by friends
but then we all snap

But these are all bitter things
Angels that fly on devil wings
Yet writhe about on puppet strings

Was it caused by my voracity?
My attempt to be free
or the silhouette of her thighs
Undulating and taunting me

So that I took up my blade and brand
and burnt the world
Butchered every soul that did stand
Between my torn heart, and that girl

So now my feet the steady swing
From the drop I’m suffocating

Neither night nor day can give me purchase only purged dust on earth can avenge the worthless.

I used to write such.  Now things are different.   Very creative imagery, but somewhat repulsive at the same time.  God bless.

So what if my wings are too scratched, cut, and beat up to fly... I'll walk.

very intense piece, angry yet emotional at the same time, unique blend of word choice and rhythmn. Very cool write thanks for sharing

Life is a torment and torment an enigma. So burn the shackles of slavery and let love run free
