I'm at the mercy of darkness,
heart empty void of feeling,
stuck in a dungeon of despair,
no light thru the the peep hole,
way past my expiration date,
nothing left to say,
better off dead...........paul

I love this one.
I do not think you are depressed. I myself can write about the darkest of things, and am such a happy person. You just have to tap into the dark feelings, even if they aren't really there.
Know what I mean?
