I don’t believe this, After all this years, You still creeping in my thoughts, Not leaving me alone after all that’s done, Thought you were gone for sure, The day you walked through that door, Out my life, never again to come back, But now you’re back-know that I want nothing, What could have been? And should have been? Thinking these crazy thoughts, Makes me feel as if I betray myself, Shackled for a lifetime for no end in sight, Never knew you could do this to me, Without your presence, and your voice, You tremor through my mind, As if you still hold me and choke me, Just let me breathe free, It’s my God given right, Don’t blemish my present, With the guilt you left a while back, I am happy with this life, Sure it isn’t perfect, But then would it have been better- If I was with you? I speak insanity. I write fantasy. I sleep reality. |

Light, yeah sometimes I sorta feel this way about God. Like all I need is to hear from him or to see the end of something. But thats actually hard to totally say because faith has been carrying alot of weight lately, and it makes the load lighter. (I just noticed I started this with the word "light" and ended it with the word "lighter." Talk about an amazing God, there is your answer.) -GIS Praise the eternal reign, the Father; Jesus Christ; and the Holy Spirit. |

I honestly don't believe that anyone in the world is more preplexed with his thoughts of god then myself. I know he's there, that he smiles upon me, yet still I live in utter darkness, so thick and so dark. This poem sparked thoughts within myself on something i never thought to express. great poem and thank you.
