the rain

the rain sweeps within.
the wind encircles my body.
the pain seeps through.
the lies flow out.

cant beleive all the drama.
cant beleive all the lies.
its easier when you let them
keep walking out of your life.

the wind picks up,
chills go through your spine.
you think about the world,
as you sip on your wine.

floods surround you,
hurricanes roar.
things arent focused on the constantwar.
"gangsters" pollute the city
with their looting and violence.

what has this world come to?

I ask why, but in my mind,
I find i cant really rely on myself.
