I found myself,
Above your bridge,
You stood alone,
Was that enough?
I will lead you back there now.

An angel played your old guitar
While the water washed above your blood
A little helpless, quite content
Quite sedated, from god sent
Each string you felt
With one hand,
Shield your eyes
Her will is bright.

You found a way,
Under my bridge,
You stand alone,
It’s not enough,
Please, don’t take me back there now.

Come on God, do I seem bulletproof?

I may be way off but I saw this as one who had passed by their own hand, you reflecting on that and quite possibly feeling them close by

(the angel, the guitar)

I love your quote btw.

i was just going through my private library, and i was checking up on all your latest posts and i saw this one... cannot believe i didn't reply earlier!!!!

the reason i say this is because it is one AMAZING poem.

Lor is right, you are way too good for your own boots!

p.s if i could write half as good as you, i think i'd be posting 5 poems a day .
p.p.s in 10 years time, i'll be the one sleeping outside Borders waiting to be the first to go into your book-signing. (kinda like waiting for rock-concert tickets! )

p.p.p.s and i mean all of this from the very bottom of my heart

so much love
you are so so so talented!

The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return.

"Shield your eyes
Her will is bright."

This is a great line.
