Sure i can admit it
and lose a little dignity
but i wont allow it
pride has got the best of me
i wont admit i want you
in more ways than one
i'll act like it doesn't bother me
like you were just "Spur of the Moment" fun
i wont admit how free i felt
or how you made me feel
how you made my heart melt
or how i pinched myself, re-assuring that it's real
i wont admit how i love it when you smile
it warms me up inside
i wont admit i remember all the things you said
during that short while
i wont admit you pissed me off
or how i wish you would've called
i wont admit i miss you
not even hint it a little bit
No, not at all
sure i can admit it
lose a little dignity
but i wont allow it
pride has got the best of me

I really love this, because it just FLOWS and so very true, we do not always FOLLOW our hearts, rather our instinct.
